From the President:
Following on from representing the FSA at the SAIF Banquet, Lisa and I had a longer journey when attending the British Institute of Embalmers’ Banquet in Llandrindod Wells, beautifully positioned among the rolling hills and rivers of Mid Wales.
We were well hosted and enjoyed excellent Welsh hospitality.
During the evening, the BIE maintained their tradition whereby each of their Regions celebrate the President’s year in verse or song. Entertaining to say the least!
On Sunday morning, Lisa and I attended the handover of chains and I had the pleasure of congratulating Edward Williams Price on his successful year in office and welcomed Maria Stibbards as his successor.
An enjoyable weekend, once again, among friends old and new.
